Online Therapy
The current state of the world must be having an impact on your relationship. How could it not? It makes sense your relationship would need extra support among all the unknowns we are facing. What may have worked in your relationship may not be working now that you are isolated from your friends, family, and rhythms that kept your relationship feeling healthy.
No one is getting out of this untouched in some way.
There has been so much grief and fear over what the future holds. Thankfully, nothing as it is now will completely stay the same. While you are moving through this alone or with a partner, you don’t need to figure it out without support. I am offering Telehealth (Online therapy) to give you a place to connect and navigate your current state of being.
How do I get started with online therapy? Request a 20 minute free consultation where we will talk more about what is going on for you and I can answer any questions you may have. We will get a sense for how it may feel to work together and what is most helpful for you in therapy. If we decide to proceed, I will send along my intake paperwork for you to complete online in the client portal.
How does online counseling work? Online counseling works just as it does when we are in the same space, except cats bomb sessions, dogs bark, and loud motorcycles drive by.
We meet on a secure platform embedded into my HIPPA compliant client portal. Hopefully you will find a comfortable, quiet, private place for our sessions. We will meet regularly to help you manage this stressful time. Telehealth has been shown to be as effective as face to face contacts.
Are you seeing clients face to face? Yes! It is your choice as to if you prefer in office or Telehealth sessions. It is also your preference for masking in session. If you would like me to wear a mask, please send an email before hand or we can discuss when you arrive. I am happy to mask for safety and comfort of clients.
Can I move my sessions to in-person? Absolutely! I love my space and I’m excited to welcome you in, make you a hot cup of tea, and settle in to do our work.
